| It is the aim of the group to
perform Choral Music of a wide range of styles, taking a vanguardistic role in its
Country, presenting there important and medit works for the first time in Argentina. Its
repertorie includes works which range from Renaissance to Contemporary Music, from single
to triple choir pieces, and from a capella" Motets to Symphonic-Choral works, as well
as popular expressions like Negro Spiritual and Folk Music. The Choir was creating in 1987
by its present conductor, Master Roberto Saccente. It is forniated by regular and
graduated studierte as well as professors of the Conservatorio Provincial de Müsica de
Morón "Alberto Ginastera" Presentations in Argentina * 1989, 199 1: "Ciclo de Conciertos " in the "Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón de Bs. As. * 1989 "XVI Festival de Coram de Tennis " (Bs. As.), sponsored by the Subsecretaria de Cultum de la Provincia de Bs. As. * 1991: 'Talleres de Müsica Coral" (Workshops) which took place in Conservatories allover the Province of Bs. As. (Bahia Blanca, Mar del Plata), being the subject of these workshops "Renaissance and Contemporaty Music ", invited by the Dirección de Educación Artistica de la Provincia de. * 1994 , 1996: "San Isidro Cathedral ", Bs. As. Argentina and "Conciertos del Mediodia " by the Mozarteum Argentino. * 1995: "Primer Festival Latinoamericano de Coros " (Mendoza, Argentina) * 1996: "International Choir Festival America Cantat IT' (Mar del Plata, Argentina) organized by the Asociaciön Argentina para la Müsica Coral AAMCANT, and sponsored by IFCM ACDA (USA), ACCC (Canadá) Fundación Schola Canturum (Venezuela), Subsecretaria de Cultura de la Provincia de Bs. As. y Municipalidad de General Pueyrredön. * 1996: The C.D. "XXth Century Sacred Music ", was proposed to the "Asociacion Cronistas del Espectáculo (ACE) Prize. * 1997: "North-East Argentine Concert Tour" (Argentina and Paraguay) 'Teatro Vera" (Resistencia , Chaco, Argentina), "Corrientes Cathedral" (Corrientes, Argentina) and 'Posadas Cathedral " (Posadas, Misiones Argentina) International Presentations * 1990: 'XV Porto Alegre International Choir Festival (Brazil) and obtained there the Third Award, scorting two Sovietic ensembles. * 1993: "European Concert Tour with the institutional support of the Ministerio de relaciones y Culto de la Nación an the Direktion General de Escuelas de la Provincia de Bs. As. The choir hadconcert venues in Spain, France, Switzerland and Italy. Basilica del Monasterio de San Lorenzo del Escorial, Notre Dame Cathedral (Paris), Basilica de San Pedro (Vatican), Palazzo Barberini (Rome) and "V Congresso Mondiale dei Maestri di Capella ", l' Concorso Intemazionale diCanto Corale per Capelle Musicali di Chiese e Catedrali Giovanni Pierluiggi da Palestrina (Rome, The Vatican). * 1995: "Opening Concert at the 1st Brazil Ein Canto - XVII International Choir Festival" Porto Alegre (Brazil) performing in the lest one the "Misa Criolla" by Ariel Ranürez, being the composer the piano accompanist and M. Saccente the Conductor. * 1997: "Argenfina and Paraguay Concert Tour". The group presented at Asunción del Paraguay Cathedral and Argentine Embassy in Paraguay. |
